Dr Hooman Farsad was trained as a Medical Practitioner in Iran and graduated in 2003. He then worked as a GP for 7 years in rural and remote areas and later joined the Australian Health system – Queensland Health in 2015 and has since worked across Queensland.

He has gained years of experience in all aspects of medicine in several departments in Queensland Health facilities. His most recent hospital experience was practicing in a subspecialty as a psychiatry (mental health) registrar. In addition to his hospital practice, Dr Hooman has also worked as an after-hours doctor and at Health Hub Doctors Morayfield’s Respiratory Clinic.

Dr Hooman enjoys all aspects of general practice with a special interest in mental health, chronic disease management, men’s health, paediatrics, and musculoskeletal disease.
